Cyman and his daughter Mrs. Winona Veele, former for-mer resident of Parowan who now live In Le Grande, Ore. visited vis-ited here for several days during the week with relatives. They are on their way to Berkeley, Calif, to visit two of Mr. Lyman's sons who reside there. Mr. and Mrs. Brose Paramore of Provo, were among the former residents who spent the July 4 week end with relatives and friends In Parowan. Mr. ano Mrs. Howard Ward and family attended the Indian ceremonial cere-monial pow wow at Flagstaff, Ariz, over the July 4 week end, and visited other scenic attractions attrac-tions In that area. Mr. and Vrs. Charles Timmons of Layton, Utah, spent the Independence Inde-pendence Day holidays In Parowan Paro-wan with relatives and friends. Mr. and Mrs. Roy Moore and several members of their family were down from Salt Lake City to visit relatives here over the July 4 week end. Mr. and Mrs. George H. Durham Dur-ham made one of their annual visits to Parowan from Salt Lake City to spend July 4 with relatives rela-tives and friends. They were accompanied ac-companied by their son-in-law and daughter, Mr. and Mrs. Boyd Hansen, also of Salt Lake City. Mr. and Mrs. Joseph Gabert of Los Angeles and Mr. and Mrs. Elburn Orton and .two sons of Gardenia, Calif, have spent the past two weeks with Mr. and Mrs. Silas T. Orton here. Mrs. Gabert will be better known to many as Miss Retta Orton. Mr. and Mrs. Errol Gurr and family of Bellville, 111. have spent the past week here visiting with Errol's parents, the Wm. J. Gurrs and other relatives. |
