Show Parowan Residents Attend Wyoming Reunion At the reunion of the Joseph Stevens, Sr., family, held in Cow-ley, Cow-ley, Wyo. recently, at which several sev-eral members of the family from here were In attendance, two members of the local group were made officers in the family organization. or-ganization. Mrs. Sarah Stevens Hulet was made vice president of the organization or-ganization and Mrs. Pearl Ward Russell was made a member of the genealogical committee. Other Oth-er officers elected are as follows: Wm. B. Stevens, Cowley, president; presi-dent; Violet Stevens Squires, Mt. Pleasant, sec. and treas. Other members of the genealogical committee are Emily Riding, Salt Lake City, and La Rue Stevens, Cowley, Wyo., wife of Ralph Stevens, Ste-vens, deceased, former resident of Parowan. Walter Stevens of Byron, Wyo. was named chairman of the John Stevens family and Mrs. Chester Stevens, Lovell, Wyo, was made chairman of the Jos. Stevens group. Following the Stevens reunion In Cowley, Mrs. Sarah Hulet, in company with her brothers, Walt-er Walt-er and John Stevens, Cowley, traveled to Lyman, Wyo. for a reunion of the Eyre family, the original members of which fam-ily, fam-ily, were residents of Mlnersvllle, Utah. |
