Show Tickets Now on Sale For Annual New Years Festivity Tickets for the Annual New Year's Eve banquet and dance have been distributed this week and the ballroom of Hotel El Escalante has been decorated for the occasion, according to Dean Williams, chairman of the event. Williams pointed out that because be-cause of the banquet and the limited amount of facilities only 150 tickets, or accomodations for 300 people, would be sold. After that figure is reached, on a first come, first served basis, sales will be discontinued, he said. Tickets have been placed at the Chamber of Commerce Office, Bulloch's Drug Store, Cowley Drug, and Hotel El Escalante. Tickets must be picked up at one of these ploces or from members mem-bers of the board of directors. Telephone reservations will not be held Williams commented. Decorations, which will be used throughout the holiday season by the various clubs and civic groups, were erected through the Assistance of representatives of those groups. Williams expressed express-ed his thanks' to those who as- sisted with the decorations. The dinner, which will be served ser-ved promptly at 7:30 p.m. will feature Roast Prime Rib of beef. The dance wlU feature music by the Starllters orchestra and will start immediately following the banquet in, the ballroom. |
