Show ALERT!!! I speak today as an individual for I do not agree with this present tre.nl of "massing men" into a nameless identity for supposedly sup-posedly the "good of their souls" or something else equally farfetched. far-fetched. The greatness of America rests in each and every independent American! Of all the great masses mass-es of men today we are the only really FREE men of the world! Let us then live up to this great principle of freedom and act accordingly. ac-cordingly. First of all let us get down to "brass tacks" as the saying goes. I believe will all my heart and soul in constitutional government! govern-ment! Therefore, I wish to preserve pre-serve for the whole world, this, our government, for we have here achieved something unique In history something that if the world would accept and abide by as we here abide this problem prob-lem of world peace would be settled for all time. America must he preserved, yes, because of you and I, John Q. That isn't being egotistical, even it It sounds so. it may also sound very selfish but let us see if It really is so. An American represents the very highest type humanity to date can offer, he is the product of ages of hope and faith of all men everywhere. every-where. He MUST BE PRESERVED. PRESERV-ED. First and foremost he is strictly strict-ly an INDIVIDUAL, he is independent inde-pendent in thought and action centuries of suffering and persecution perse-cution has produced this man of Independence. His freedom has been bought at the greatest price ever paid by all th people of the whole world! For in his veins runs the blood of them all. And IN HIM rests the HOPE OF ALL MEN. Hase there ever before In the whole history of mankind, been a people who have been willing to arise to lend a helping hand to those in need without recompense? recom-pense? And yet back of that very help has been our keen desire de-sire to preserve what we have here, why? Because as free men only we can fully and deeply understand un-derstand the helplessness, the hopelessness of slavery! WE KNOW thit the future of mankind man-kind rests in freeing man individually, indi-vidually, so that he might as a man stand foursquare and upright up-right before all men, only as an equal can he ever hope to realize real-ize that he was In truth made in the image of God and therefore there-fore portages of his divinity. We think of men not in the mass but as an individual our great constitution is based upon that great precept "all men arc created equal". And while we too here have failed, as frail humanity human-ity all does, at times, yet we have here in this country preserved pre-served and upheld the rights of the individual American. In that lies our ureal ness. Now wa face a very grave situation sit-uation tnc I believe we as individuals indi-viduals should study and fully understand, why it has come about and what is to b done, for out of our follies, may come a solution. I Chaos reiens but out of this) confusion 1 at least have arrived ar-rived at this fact American' blood MUST NOT BE WASTED! I One American left is worth hun-' dreds of lives of the ignorant because be-cause he Las striven to improve not only his own character, but he has achieved harmony with his fellowman. and he BELIEVES IN FREEDOM! The ignorant know only force, and will of necessity ne-cessity perish from it.' We point the way to real peace in our own constitutional form of government we have been rejected re-jected by many of the peoples of the world for this blindness they shall pay, but they shall pay a dearer price because they seek to destroy us. We have held forth the hand In friendship they hav In turn drawn the sword, and by that sword they shall peiish! Even as we must pay for the follies committed by our leaders, who seem to have forgotten the greatness of America! Amer-ica! We, the people have not forgotten we understand well the grave responsibility that lies in our greatness. George |
