Show City Council Adopts Ordinance for Water Bond Sale Another step toward increasing increas-ing the Cedar City culinary water supply and improving the water system were taken this week when the city council adopted an ordinance authorizing the sale of $275,000 in bonds, as approved by the bond election conducted in October. The ordinance, together with a call for bids for the bonds, appears ap-pears in this issue of the Iron County Record. The funds will be used for the completion of another huge water storage tank and for other improvements in the water system, as well as for acquiring additional sources of water if possible. The long-range program of at-ft at-ft fix tempting to obtain additional water supplies from Navajo lake will be continued, while the program pro-gram to meet immediate needs is being rushed as much as possible. |
