Show NOTICE OF BOND SALE v NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that sealed bids will be received by the City Council at the City Office, in Cedar City, Iron County State of Utah, for the purchase of Two Hundred Seventy-Five Thousand Thou-sand Dollars ($275,000) Water-works Water-works Revenue Bonds of said City until the hour of 7:30 o'clock o'-clock p. m. on Thursday the 4th day of January, A. D., 1951, at which time and place the City Council will open and consider any bids received for the purchase pur-chase of said bonds. Said bonds shall be dated November 1, 1950, shall be due and payable serially ser-ially Ten Thousand Dollars ($10.-000) ($10.-000) on November 1 in each of the years 1953 to 1978, both inclusive, in-clusive, and Fifteen Thousand Dollars ($15,000) November 1, 1979, shall bear interest at a rate not to exceed three and one-half one-half (32) per cent per annum, payable semi annually, both principal and interest payable at the First Security Bank of Utah N. A., Exchange Place Branch, Salt Lake City, Utah, or the Bank of Southern Utah. Cedar City, Utah, and payable solely from the net revenues to be derived from the operation of the waterworks water-works plant and system of said City, subject to the prior lien requirements re-quirements of the Cedar City, Utah Waterworks Revenue Bonds dated July 1, 19.")0. which bonds shall be fssued for the purpose of defraying the expenses of increasing, in-creasing, improving, enlarging and adding to the water supply and waterworks plant and system sys-tem of Cedar City. Iron County. State of Utah, to supply said City and the Inhabitants thereof with water. Bonds maturing on and after November 1. 195G are redeemable in Inverse numerical order on November 1. 1955, or on any interest payment date thereafter there-after at par and accrued interest inter-est to the redemption date, and a premium equivalent to one year's interest computed at the interest rate or rates borne by the bonds In thp year immediately immediate-ly following the date of redemption. re-demption. All bids must be accompanied by a certified check in the amount of Ten Thousand Dollars Dol-lars ($10,000) as an evidence of good faith, to be forfeited to said City in case the successful bidder shall fall or refuse to comply with the terms of his bid.
