Show Last Rites Held -In Cedar for Reuben W. Dotson Funeral services for Reuben W. Dotson of Salt Lake City were held in the Cedar First ward chapel cha-pel Friday, Dec. 8. Burial was in the Cedar City cemetery. . Mr. Dotson, a brother of Bishop H. P. Dotson of Cedar City, died at Salt Lake City on Dec. 5 of a heart attack. The services here were conducted con-ducted by Bishop's Counselor Grant Hunter. Speakers were Charles R. Hunter and Parson U. Webster, and sentiments, written writ-ten by Mrs. Hannah Foster, were read by Mrs. Caroline A. Perry. Invocation was by David Gibson, Gib-son, benediction by Reuben Dot-son. Dot-son. and the dedicatory prayer by Bishop H. P. Dotson. The musical program included a song, "God Is Ever Beside Me" by a ladies trio composed of Mrs. Luana Riddle, Mrs. Naida Gardner and Mrs. Gladys Isom, accompanied by Mrs. Mary Jane Seaman; a violin solo by Mrs. June D. Thorley, accompanied by her sister, Miss Marian Decker; Deck-er; a vocal solo, "Oh My Father" by Joseph Hunter, accompanied by Mrs. Bernella Jones, and a vocal duct, "My Father Knows", by Ray Cosslett and Myles Walker, Walk-er, accompanied by Mrs. Beth Leigh. Organ music was by Mrs. Jones. |
