Show City Council Sets Tentative 1951 Fiscal Budget The Parowan City Council at its regular meeting on Tuesday night prepared a tentative city budget for the 1951 fiscal year, calling for the expenditure of $65,326 and set the hearing on said budget for Friday noon, December De-cember 29, 1950. The major portion of the revenue reve-nue to meet the expenditures contemplated in the budget will come from the city owned public utilities. An estimated $38,000 will come from the sale of power from the municipal plant and another $7,000 will come from water rentals. City taxes will bring in another $8,000, with the balance coming from licenses, fees, gas tax monies, rental on city property, etc.. |
