The Jaycees also plan to lay a concrete slab between the bleachers and the retaining wall in the spring to eliminate dust. Two drinking fountains near the bleachers are also planned for installation. The Jaycees also leveled the infield this fall, especially around home plate, where the ground was slightly low. Following Follow-ing the leveling of the ground, the area was reseeded by the city and the Softball association. In addition, the wall will serve as the boundary for an ice skating skat-ing rink in the winter, which will cover the entire ball park. Work is being done by a Jay-cee Jay-cee committee, with Leo Cahoon, chairman, and Jay Hall, board advisor. |
