Show Enoch and Midvalley A farewell party will be held tonight in the Enoch ward chapel honoring five members of the ward who have been called into active duty with the Utah National Na-tional Guard. The guests of honor hon-or will be Charles Davis (Billy Smith), James "Buddy" Smith, William Empey, Paul Grimshaw and Martin Merrill. . Wm. H. Grimshaw returned home last week end after spending spend-ing the summer in Sheridan, Wy-oming, Wy-oming, with his son William R. Grimshaw and family. A son was bom to Mr. and Mrs. Henry Grimshaw on Aug. 12 at the Iron County hospital. Wm. R. Grimshaw is here from Wyoming on a short business trip. A baby was born to Mr. and Mrs. LaVon Jones on August 8. The Chums 4-H club of Enoch met recently at the home of Mrs. Elsie Seegmiller in Cedar City. I Mrs. Seegmiller, a beauty operator, operat-or, cut and styled each girl's hair, and gave pointers on the care of the hair and tips on proper pro-per make-up for teenagers. The Happy Workers 4-H club of Enoch has learned to prepare pre-pare dinners as their summer project. Two weeks ago they served dinner to all club members mem-bers and this week they will be hostesses to their mothers. |
