Show Utah Drops Short Of Cancer Quota of $50,000 Utah has fallen short by $1,500 of its quota of $50,000 for the 1950-51 budget of the Utah chapter chap-ter of the American Cancer Society. So-ciety. This has happened despite the fact that the society annually annual-ly spends more than $85,000 in Utah nearly double its quota-each quota-each year in research grants, cancer medical services and in education. To prevent the loss of valuable valua-ble services to the state, now that it has become apparent that the Cancer drive of April will not produce the necessary sum, a supplementary push, a new appeal ap-peal has been added. The money will be used to pro vide free Cancer Symptom clinics clin-ics for the public, where cancer can be discovered early and it has been proven that cancer can be cured nearly 75 per cent of the time when discovered early. Mail your contribution now, so the work of the Cancer Society may continue unabated.
