Show Juvenile Judge Puts Four Boys on I Probationary Period Four Juveniles, ranging In age from 14 to 17, were put on probation pro-bation by Juvenile Judge Sterling Sterl-ing Bossard. Manti, in a hearing held Wednesday morning in the 1 City and County building In Cedar Ce-dar City. The boys appeared In court I following their apprehension by Iron county sheriff Arthur Nelson. Nel-son. Two were charged with house breaking and theft, while the other two were charged with i theft of gasoline. The Judge ordered the boys to I pay for the balance of the stolen , articles which were not recovered and put them on probation. If their probation is broken, they will be sent to the State Industrial Indus-trial school. In the house breaking, the boys made off with a 30-30 rifle, camera, carton of .22 cartridges, box of 30-30 ammunition and other smaller articles from the homes of John Smith and John Hunt, Beryl. In the other charge, gasoline was stolen from a drum on the Beckstrom farm In Beryl. The boys Involved In the thefts are from the Beryl area. Arrests of the boys were made on Aug. S and Aug. 8 by Sheriff Sher-iff Nelson. Footprints and automobile auto-mobile tracks in the vicinity I led. to. the arrest of the Juveniles. |
