Show Broncos Increase League Standing Blasting Westminster. 57-48; 58-46 The Broncos from the Branch Agricultural college smothered the Westminster Parsons in two games here over the week end to jump into a two-way tie for second place in the southern division of the ICAC conference. Snow college, which was inactive this week, is now tipft with thp Rrnnrs with four wins and four losses. Carbon leads the southern division divi-sion race with seven wins and one loss. In the first pa me Friday night on the local court, the Broncos, led by lanky Max Bond, who connected with four goals and five fouls, jumped into an early lead which they never lost, and went on to win the game 57-48. The Parsons never seriously threatened the Broncos and trailed trail-ed throughout the game by about 10 points. Big guns for the Parsons Par-sons were Paul Brown who chalked up 16 points for high score honors of the game, and Ray Buhler, who connected for 14 points. It was a different story on Saturday night, when the Parsons Par-sons came back to take a commanding com-manding lead from the start of the game until the final minutes of the first half. As the end of the half approached, the Broncos began to hit the hoop and the B. A. C. team finished the half leading, 25-24. In the second half, the Broncs continued to press the attack and went on to win the game 58-16. This time it was Erie Reese leading the way with 15 tallies. Reese had a perfect night on the foul line, hitting five for five, in addition to sinking five field goals; Max Bond, D. Tuft and Dent Sorenson also contributed to the heavy scoring. In the Saturday night game, high point honors again went to a Parson player, as Bill Zogg, lanky forward, sank six field goals and seven out of ten foul pitches to score 19 points. He was aided by Ray 'Buhler and Paul Brown, who each scored 12 ( points. j The Broncos suffered a loss in the final minutes of the game when Carl Tuft was Injured in a melee under the basket.
