Show Police Depaitment Entertained By Lions Club Officers of the Cedar City police department and the Commissioner Commission-er of Public Safety were guests of the local Lions club at the regular Monday noon luncheon meeting of the organization in El Escalate hotel. Present were Tony Lambert, chief of police, William Hills, George Manning, and Robert Avedisian, all officers and H. E. Christensen, city councilman in charge of public safety. Each of the officers gave a short talk on their various duties and problems confronting them in the line of duty. Christensen spoke on the aims and problems of the entire department. Lion Clifton Chatterley was in charge of arrangements for the program. |
