Show Southern Utah Livestock Association Schedules Annual Banquet, Dance The annual banquet and dance of the Southern Utah Livestock Association is slated for Cedar City, Monday, Feb. 13, at 7:30 p. m. in El Escalante hotel, with some 400 'persons expected to attend the annual affair, accord-ling accord-ling to Alex Williams, Cedar City, president of the associa- tion. In addition to the banquet, two important association meetings will be held during the day. A meeting of the Branch Agriculture Agricul-ture committee of the association will be held on the campus Ira the morning. This committee works closely with the BAC in (.tanning its research program. During the meeting, sheep ,' heeding and range problems will be discussed and plans for operations during the coming; year will be drawn up. This committee com-mittee includes Alex Williams, W. L. Jones, Dr. John Beal, Kulon Wood, Douglas Clark, H. IL Lunt and Charles R. Hunter. Representatives from the Utah State Agricultural college at Logan Lo-gan will also be present for the meeting. These include Dr. R. II. Walker, dean and director of the? college of agriculture, USAC; Dr. Leslie L. Madsen, head of the animal husbandry department, USAC; Dr. L. A. Stoddard, head of the range management department. de-partment. USAC; Dr. Lewis M. Turner dean of the school of forestry, for-estry, USAC, and Prof. Dee Broad-bent, Broad-bent, assistant director of the USAC experiment station. Representatives Repre-sentatives of the Division of Grazing, Graz-ing, Land Management, and the U. S. Department of Agriculture; forestry, will also be present for ,t)if mpftlnc. Taking part in the discussions from the BAC will be Dr. H. Wayne Driggs director; Dr. T. Donald Bell, chairman of agriculture agri-culture at the B. A. G: Prof. D Schmutz, agricultural economics; ' Prof. Glen Wahlauist scronnmv! Prof. V. R. Magleby, animal and dairy husbandry, and Prof. Max Robinson, in charge of range management. . . , The afternoon meeting of the association will be open to the rublic and will be held in El Escalante hotel beginning at 2 p. m. Range, livestock and other pertinent problems' will be discussed dis-cussed at this time. Following the banquet In the evening, there will be a floor show and dance in the ballroom of the hotel.
