Show Cedar City Jaycee-Ettes Hold Sixth Anniversary Party i Above are the members and guests who celebrated the sixth birthday of the Jaycee-Ette organization at a party on January 26. The committee in charge of arrangements included Mrs. Lorraine Jameson, chairman; Mrs. Myrtle Bauer, Mrs. Louise Peterson, Mrs. Colleen Sherratt, Mrs. Pauline Nelson, Mrs. Bonnie Cripps, Mrs. Zola Knell and Mrs. Gloria Fenton. Cedar City laycee-Ettes Hold Gala Birthday Party Celebrating Their Sixth Anniversary I The sixth anniversary of the organization of of the Cedar City Jaycee-Ettes was celebrated on Thursday evening, Jan. 26 at a birthday party in the First ward banquet rooms with GO members and guests attending the affair. Tables were attractively decor-tated decor-tated using an advance spring theme. Six birthday cakes, representing' rep-resenting' each year of organization organiza-tion decorated the head table. Honored guests were Mrs. O'-Dean O'-Dean Olds, wife of the state Junior Jun-ior Chamber of Commerce president; presi-dent; Mrs. JoAnne Larson, wife of the local Junior Chamber of Commerce president, and five of the six presidents of the Jaycee-Ettes, Jaycee-Ettes, Mrs. Claudia Forsyth, Mrs. Mary MacDonald, Mrs. Ila Sherratt, Sher-ratt, Mrs. Ardcth Ahlstrom and Mrs. Dewey Olson. Mrs. Lorraine Jameson, chairman, chair-man, served as toastmistress, while Mrs. Verda Misel gave the toast of the evening to the organization. Appearing on the program were: Mrs. Luana Riddle, who gave two vocal numbers; Mrs. Ruth Cahoon, who played two xylophone selections; Mrs. Mary MacDonald and Miss Ruth Corry, a violin duet; Jerry Sherratt and Jordan L. Larson, a reading; Merlin Jones, a chalk-talk, and a skit by Mrs. Odessa Gentry, Mrs. Mary Heyborne, Mrs. Bertha Jones, Mrs. O'Dean Olds and Mrs. Winona Cowan. |
