Show Dance Revue, Tea Feature Girls Week Activities At B A C Girls' Day, an annual event sponsored spon-sored by the Associated Women Students Stu-dents of the BAC, was fittingly observed ob-served on Friday, April 25, and Saturday, Sat-urday, April 26. The Mothers' and Daughters' Tea, an exceptionally lovely affair, was held at the LD S. Institute on Friday Fri-day from 3 until 5 p. m. and was in honor of the mothers of the AWS. Tea arrangements were under the direction of Miss Hazel Parks of the Foods department. The annual dance revue given under the direction of Mrs. LaVeve Whetten, girls physical education director di-rector at the college, was a highlight high-light of the entire school season. It was presented to a capacity audience aud-ience in the Public school auditorium, auditor-ium, and was the largest and most elaborate every staffed at the college. The theme of the revue was In keeping with the spirit of the Golden Gold-en Jubilee year of the B. A. C., with dancing of all types and periods featured. One of the outstanding features of the revue was the scale upon which It was done, the number of students who participated and the excellence reached by such a large group. |
