Show May 7 Named As Final Day of Cloan-up Drive; Trucks to Pick Up Trash Final plans are now complete for the big climaxing day of the city's Clean-up and Beautlflcatlon campaign. cam-paign. Wednesday, May 7, has been officially chosen by the Junior Chamber of Commerce and the City Beautlflcatlon Committed as City Clean-up Day. Plans are for trucks and men to cover the entire city u-i this day to gather all rubbish maiirlals that home owners would like to have removed re-moved from their property. Property Pro-perty owners are urged to place all such material on their front curb Tuesday evening or not lu.or that Wednesday noon. All rubbish should be placed In containers If possible. The City Beautlflcatlon Committee Com-mittee feels that property owners of the city have cooperated very well during the recent weeks of the clean-up, Palnt-up and Beautlflcatlon Beautlflca-tlon campaign and urge everyone to take full advantage of the Junior Chamber sponsored Clean-up Day, May 7th. Ward and Block Beautlflcatlon Chairmen are urged to give a helping help-ing hand on this day to see that nothing Is overlooked on this City Clean-Up Day. The closing duLe of the four Southern Utah County Beautlflcatlon Beautlflca-tlon contest Is June 1st, and everyone every-one Is urged to report beautlflcatlon beautlflca-tlon projects that could be photographed photo-graphed and also to fill out and return all score cards that they might receive. Everyone should prepare for Wednesday, May 7, anJ be sure that all property Is put In first class condition for our City Centennial Celebrations. |
