Show Cedar Couple Marry In Salt Lake Temple Two prominent young people of Cedar City were united in marriage on April 18th, Robert I Burton, solemnizing the double-ring ceremony cere-mony in the Salt Lake Temple, uniting Miss Roene Bulloch, daughter daugh-ter of Mr. and Mrs. David C. Bulloch, Bul-loch, and Haymer D. Morris, sun of Mr. and Mrs. Durham Morris. Immediately following the ceremony cere-mony the young couple left for a honeymoon trip to Reno, where they visited with the bride's brother-in-law and sister, Mr. and Mrs. Price Rqnnow, after which they spent some time in San Francisco. On April 26 they were honored at a reception at the home of the bride's parents. The bride was love ly in an Ivory slipper satin gown entrain, trimmed front and back with a yoke of seed pearls and beads. She wore a full length veil, trimmed trim-med in wide Venetian lace, and topped by a finger tip veil, which fell from a tiara of clustered orange blossoms. Her bouquet was of pink roses and white baby breath. She chose Mrs. Clark Macfarlane as her Matron of Honor, with the groom's sister, Miss Mary Morris, Miss Ltiel Mcrrywcather, and Mrs. Jane U. Croft as her brides' maids. Mr. Miles Morris, brother of the groom, acted as best man. The bridal party stood in front of the mantle bunked with white calla llllles, ferns und pink snap dragons. For her daughter's reception, recep-tion, Mrs. Bulloch chose a dress of black net skirt with metal cloth bodice. The bridegroom's mother chose a dress of powder blue crepe with lace trim. Greeting the guests at the door was McRae Eulloch, brother of thp bride, and the parents of the bride and groom. In charge of the dining room was Mrs. Whitney Jensen, and Mrs. McRae Bulloch, with Mrs. Janice M. Prothero, Miss Lois Urie, Mrs. Kent Smith and Mrs. Mel Ence, assisting. as-sisting. Miss Iris Spencer was in charge of the register book, Miss Joan Jones, received gifts at the door, and Miss Marie Baldwin, Miss Zola Tolle-strup, Tolle-strup, Miss Verlln Wallace, Miss Marie Baker, Mrs. York Jones and Miss Jeri White were In charge of the gift room. The dining table was covered with an Ivory lace cloth and centered with a large wedding cake, encircled encircl-ed with flowers. t Musical numbers at the reception were furnished by Mrs. Janice M. Prothero, Mrs. York Jones, Miss Joan Jones, with Mrs. Mary Jane Seaman at the piano. Mrs. Coy Manning Man-ning also sang three solos. The bride Is a graduate of the Cedar City high school and attended attend-ed the Branch Agricultural College where she was affllated with the Phi Alpha Beta sorority. The groom served with the Army Air Corps during the war period, and has been attending the Branch Agricultural Agri-cultural College since his release from duty in 1946. He is a member of the Sigma Kappa Rho fraternity. |
