Show High School Music Students To Present Music Night May 3 Instrumental music students of the Cedar City Junior and Senior high schools under the direction of A. B. Larson will be presented In concert when the annual Music Night Is held at the Public School auditorium, Thursday, May 8. Numbers will be given by the Junior Jun-ior high school band of seventy young musicians, the high school band numbering fifty-five members, the high school orchestra of thirty-five, thirty-five, and all young musicians In a massed ensemble. The program will be as follows: "America, The Beautiful" .... Ward Combined bands and orchestra Vocal trio by Emma Lou Warren. LaRee Sargent and Peggy Bulloch. Pan American Selection LaMater Merry Men, overture Thomas Junior High school Band Phoan Overture Johnson Monastery Garden Ketebey High School Orchestra Golden Dragon Overture King Little Brown Jug Berglem High School Band March Noble Bach America Carey Combined Bands' and Orchestra Student officers assisting are: Junior High Band. Tom Clark, president; pres-ident; Renee Jones, vice president; Wlllard Gardner, manager. High school Band: Geraldine Hall, president; presi-dent; Edward Southwick, vice president; pres-ident; La Von Urle, manager. High School Orchestra: Peggy Bulloch, president; Floyd Munson, manager. The students have worked hard to prepare and make this an outstanding out-standing concert and the public can be assured of a musical treat. This will be the largest school Instrumental Instru-mental ensemble to ever present a concert In Cedar City. |
