Show Miss Ruth Corry To Say Vows With Scott Urie Miss Ruth Corry, daughter of Mrs. E. M. Corry of Cedar City, will exchange marriage vows on Saturday, Dec. 23, with 1st Sgt.. Scott M. Urie. son of Mrs. Hoy Urie of Cedar City. Performing the double ring ceremony will be the brother of the bride, Elwood Corry, president presi-dent of the Cedar L D S stake. The wedding will be at the home of the brides mother at 6 p. m. Miss Beth Corry. Salt Lake City, a sister of the bride will be maid of honor. Bridesmaids will be Mrs. Graham MacDonald. and Miss Marian Anderson, Cedar Ce-dar City, and Miss Donna Beck, Gunnison. Best man will be Roy Parry Urie, brother of the groom. A reception in honor of the newlyweds will be held at the College ward following the ceremony, cere-mony, after which the couple will leave on a wedding trip. Miss Corry has been junior librarian li-brarian in Cedar City and is a graduate of Cedar City schools and the Branch Agricultural college. col-lege. She is a member of Phi Alpha Beta and Beta Sigma Phi sororities. The groom is 1st Sgt. with the j 213th Armored Field Artillery i battalion at Fort Lewis. Wash., j and will be in Cedar City on a i 10-day furlough over the Christ- j mas holidays. Mr. Urie attended Cedar City j schools and the BAC and is a ! veteran of World War II. He is j part owner of the Stucki & Urie ! Repair Shop in Cedar City. |
