Show FINAL JUDGING IN CHRISTMAS LIGHTING CONTEST DEC. 24 Six business houses in Cedar City will sponsor the prizes for the Junior Chamber of Commerce Com-merce Christmas Lighting contest, con-test, which will come to a climax cli-max on Christmas Eve with a committee of five judges picking pick-ing the winners. Sponsored annually by the Jaycees, prizes are awarded for the best lighting effects achieved by residential owners and business busi-ness houses. The contest began officially on Dec. 15, and judginging will be completed and announced Dec. 24. Contributing prizes for the affair af-fair are North East Furniture. Cedar Home Furnishings, Roberts Rob-erts Furniture, H. M. Endsley, Leigh Furniture and Hunter Hardware Co. In the residential decorating contest there will be prizes in three divisions; originality, lighting light-ing and religious theme. There will be only one division for the business houses. The contest has been organized organ-ized under the direction of the special Christmas activities committee com-mittee of the Jaycees. with Joseph Jo-seph W. Bauer, chairman. In charge of the contest is Cleon Craig. |
