Show Iron County OKs Tentative 1951 Budget; $279,600 A motion was passed by the Iron County Commissioners at a meeting on Monday of last week approving the tentative 1951 budget for the county, with the amount budgeted totaling $279,-655.28, $279,-655.28, or $620 less than the 1950 figure. A hearing on the proposed budget will be held on Friday, Dec. 29, at 10 a. m. in the courthouse court-house at Parowan. A meeting for final adoption of the budget will be held at 2 p. m. on the same day. The amounts allocated to the county road, Indigent and hospital hospi-tal funds for 1951 are less than last year's budget while the general gen-eral fund was increased by almost al-most $5,000. The airport fund was awarded $6,528, where there was no appropriation last year. The proposed budget Is now on file for public inspection at the office of the country clerk and auditor, W. Clair Rowley, at the courthouse In Parowan. Notice of the hearing on the proposed budget has been published pub-lished in the Parowan Times. |
