Show NEWCASTLE A Christmas program was given giv-en by the school on Monday, Dec. 18. under the director of Le-ona Le-ona White, teacher. Three Christmas Christ-mas plays were given, entitled "Christmas Landing, "The My Size Doll" and "Santa's Predicament", Predica-ment", along with songs and recitations. re-citations. Those participating were Jackie Tullis, Dorothy Ward, Lydia Harrison, Merrill Harrison. Judy White, Sylvia White, Michael Knell, Roger Forsyth. For-syth. Rodney Forsyth. Jimmy Tullis, Clair Hulet, and Bobby Knell. After the program the Pro-mary Pro-mary officers sold cookies and punch. Mrs. Mary Forsyth has returned re-turned from California where she has spent the past two weks visiting vis-iting with her children there. Mr. and Mrs. Herbert Knell of Washington, Utah, spent the week end visiting their people here. Camilla Pace of New Harmony Harmo-ny is visiting her sister Mrs. Iva Harrison and family. There is considerable sickness among the people of Newcastle at the present time, mostly colds and influenza. Mr. and Mrs. Albert Harrison and son Billy are spending part of the week in Salt Lake City on business and visiting. |
