Show Civil Service Tests to Fill Western Positions The Board of U. S. Civil Service Ser-vice Examiners for the Department Depart-ment of Agriculture announced today examinations for filling positions of Soil Conservationist (Trainee) $2284 and $2724 per annum, Engineer (Trainee) $2284 and $2724 per annum, and Veterinarian Vet-erinarian (Trainee) $2724 and $2974 per annum. Vacancies in these positions will be principally principal-ly with Soil Conservation Service Ser-vice and the Bureau of Animal Industry in the states of Colorado, Colora-do, New Mexico, Utah and Wyoming. Wy-oming. These examinations arc intended for summer employment, employ-ment, which will permit college students to learn the work during dur-ing summer vacations, and leading lead-ing to permanent employment upon completion of college training. Periodic pay Increases are provided for on a systematic basis. Competitors will be requlr-ed requlr-ed to take a written test which will include questions on arithmetical arith-metical computations and problems, prob-lems, reading, the meaning of words, and some questions Involving In-volving the ability to see accurately accur-ately the relationship in geometric geome-tric figures. Persons wishing to participate in these examinations should obtain ob-tain card form 5000 AB from the Post Office in Cedar City.
