Show Chamber of Commerce President Names Four Standing Committees Dr. L. V. Broadbent, president of the Cedar City Chamber of Commerce, announces that In order or-der to gel projects for the current year underway several standing committees have been appointed and instructed to proceed with their assignments Immediately. In order to get the annual membership drive underway as quickly as possible, the committee commit-tee named to handle membership activities, is already at work. The committee will be headed by Dr. Fred B. Parkinson, chairman, and vice president William R. Thor-ley, Thor-ley, board advisor. Assisting them will be Pratt Bethers, Lorin Hirschi, Lyman Sevy, Jim Urie, Parley Anderson, H. M. Endsley, Stanley Bradshaw, Dr. H. Wayne Drlggs. Fred La Frentz. Whitney Jenson. Maylin Maxfield. (Ira-ham (Ira-ham D. MucDonald, Carl Was-muth Was-muth and Ernest W. Macfarlane. Other committees named by Dr. Broadbent and his board are as follows: Advertising Committee: A. W. Stephenson, chairman, Edwin L. Peterson, board advisor, Ray Knell, Art Higbee, York Jones, Sheldon Olds, Ben Quinn. Inter Community Relations Committee: J. L. Fakler, chairman. chair-man. Reed Bradshaw, board advisor, ad-visor, D. C. Schmutz, Al Fisher, trroll Woodbury, Ned Sargent. School Expansion Committee: D. C. Dix, chairman, Elwood Cor-ry, Cor-ry, board advisor, W. L. Jones, Wm. R. Thorley, 'c. L. Ewing, Ianthus Wright, Pratt M. Bothers, Twain Tlppetts. Hazen Cooley, secretary at the Branch Agricultural College, was added to the Legislative committee, commit-tee, appointed and announced last week. |
