Show Mother of Cedar City Lady Dies in Ogden Mrs. Piatt Watson returned to Cedar City this week after spending spend-ing six weeks hi Ogden because of the illness and death of her mother, Mrs. Josephine Ipsen Rawson. Mrs. Watson was first called to Ogden because of the death of her brother-in-law, Heber B. Young, manager and vice president of the Ogden Lithographing Company. While Mrs. Watson was there her mother suffered a heart attack, which resulted In her death last week. Mrs. Josephine Rawson, 77, who had spent considerable tfcne In Cedar Ce-dar City with her daughter, and was well known to many Cedar people, had been an active church worker during her entire life. She was a member of th Plain City Choir for 45 years, and had also held offices of-fices In the Relief Society and Primary organizations. She had also al-so been active In dramatic circles In Plain City. She ls survived by seven children, 26 grandchildren, 40 great-grandchildren and one great-great-grandchild. Two of her grandchildren are serving In the country's armed services, ser-vices, one In the Navy and one In tha. Army. |
