The qvsUomvlre, which will soon be distributed to February 10 registrants by their local board-., later will be sent to registrant of the first and second registration and those of future registrations, the State Director said. Its purpose is an inventory of the present employment employ-ment activities of the registrants and of their skills or abilities, lt has no connection with, and is not to be confused with the regular Selective Service Questionnaire (Form 40) which Is sent to all registrants reg-istrants to obtain data on which Selective Service classification Is based, Director Rich emphasized. The data obtained through the occupational oc-cupational questionnaire will be forwarded for-warded through State Headquarters to the National Roster of Scientific and Speclalhsed Personnel and to the United States Employment Service. It will be used by these agencies to locate persons with cer- j tain professional and scientific, qualifications and those who have skills or aptitudes in critical or essential occupations for the ultimate ulti-mate purpose of achieving a more complete and efficient utilization of the Nation's manpower in the war production program. |
