Show Iron and Steel Needed For Defense Training Classes A plea for iron and 6teel for use by the Branch Agricultural College defense training classes was sounded sound-ed this week by C. B. Cooley, district dist-rict supervisor of defense training. Mr. Cooley pointed out that due to the national defese program It Is Impassible to get Iron and steel for practice work In the various classes at the B.A.C. and urges everyone in the community to gather up old machinery or metal parts of machines and deliver them iO the B.A.C. Current prices will be paid for materials, according to Mr. Cooley, who suggests that worn out parts of farm mcchlnery, discarded dis-carded tools, the remain of wrecked wreck-ed automobiles which strew the dump yards, til 1 av potential value. Anyone having scrap metal Is urged to notify Mr. Cooley at the BA.C. or to take the materlol to the shop building on the E. A. C. campus. |
