Show K IT Utah Chiropractors Hold Successful Meet Here Saturday Dr. Karl J. Hawkins was the principal speaker at the southern district convention of the Utah Chiropractic Association which convened con-vened here Saturday, November 29, In the Cedar City L. D. S. Fint ward chapel. Dr. Hawkins discussed the subject, sub-ject, "Our Body and How it Functions", Func-tions", using blackboard Illustrations Illustra-tions and X-ray pictures showing the positive and negative action of health and disease, and also how disease Is created when pressure Is placed upon the nerves at the point of exit from the spinal cord. A large and interested audience turned out to hear Dr. Hawkins who Is well known, having had charge of the largest chiropractic institution in the world for mental men-tal and nervous cases. Officers of the orgalzation who were present also spoke briefly on organization matters. A pleasing mudcal program was furlshed by the Ladles Sextette, under the direction of Mrs. Bern-ella Bern-ella Jones, Roy Halversen, Frank Van Cott and Mrs. Mclba Sargent. Among the eminent chiropractors from various parts of the state who attended the convention were: Oc. George A. Wl'son of Salt Lake City, president of the association; Dr. I. J. McKell, Ogden, vice president: and Dr. Andrae Kesler. |
