Show Bids Requested For Furnishing Uniforms For Utah State Guard J. Henry McGean, state purchasing purchas-ing agent, has requested bids from clothing manufacturers for military uniforms for some four hundred members of the Utah State Home Guard, it was announced this week. Individual estimates for complete com-plete uniforms in both cadet and navy blue cloth were called for. "Clothing requirements to outfit the home guard," Mr. McGean said, "have received a priority rating. We'll carefully Inspect each bid and award the contract to the firm furnishing the finest cloth according accord-ing to specifications, price and length of time required to complete com-plete the entire order." The state's initial bid calls for prices on 400 of everything - coats, caps, trousers, waist belts, neckties, shoes, shirts and leggins. JL JL |
