Show B.A.C. Football Squad Honored By Lions Club Members of the Branch Agricultural Agricul-tural College football team were guests of the Cedar City Lions Club at their regular weekly meeting Monday at the Escalante Hotel. Wilson N. Lunt presided. Tom Cardon, a member of the Lions Club, welcomed the players on behalf of the club and congratulated congratulat-ed them on their very successful season. Coach Nelson (Ty) Tydings then Introduced the players and spoke briefly of the experiences of the team during the season. He was followed by Director Henry Ober-hansley Ober-hansley of the B. A. C, assistant coach Edwin L. Peterson, John V. Christensen, a member of the B.A.C. B.-A.C. Athletic council, Mark Brad-shuw, Brad-shuw, captain of the team, and the following players: Elliott Cameron, Roy Allen and Henry Petersen, each of whom spoke briefly. Major H. E. Petersen, who was is Cedar City on a short furlougn from the Army, was also a special guest at Monday's meeting, and gave a short talk in which he criticized criti-cized the morale of the people of southern Utah, deploring their lack of support, interest and belief in the present crisis facing the nation. na-tion.
