Show Kanarra The M. I. A. of the Toquervllle ward presented a play, "The Grand Old Darling," here last Tuesday evening. The play, "The Man from Texas," was presented here last Thursday evening by the Kanaraa M. I. A. Those taking part In the play Included: In-cluded: LaMont Thornock, Emerson Emer-son Williams, Gle Plngle, Marvin Christenson, Nedra Roundy, Clara Williams, Carma Williams, Effa Parker and Hattie Roundy. Mrs. Mae Banks and sons, Max and Jay, and daughter, Marva, of Salt Lake weer vllstors at the home of Mrs. Banks' mother, Mrs. Betsy Smith, several days last week. Miss Verna Piatt went to Boulder Dam last week with Mr. and Mrs. Clair Piatt of Cedar City. Mrs. Eva Iverson of Washington was a Sunday visitor here with hr son-in-law and daughter, Mr. and Mrs. Reed Williams. Carter Williams, son of Mr. and Mrs. Noel Williams, left Monday for Salt Lake City with the county's coun-ty's quota of men for the army. |
