Show $ Leeds Mrs. Fred Curt has spent several days in St. George on business. Miss Shirley Olsen spent the week end visiting with her family in Leeds. She is attending school In Salt Lake City. Mrs. Jim Carter and daughter, Arlcne and Afton, spent the week end here from Salt Lake City. Miss Faye Stirling and lone Olsen Ol-sen attended the teachers' convention con-vention In Provo last week end. Mr. and Mrs. Alex Colbath and Mrs. Herbert Hatght of Cedar City spent Wednesday visiting here and at Silver Reef. Mr. and Mrs. Ivan Decker and family of Parowan spent last Sunday Sun-day here visiting at the home of Bishop and Mrs. Edward McMullln. Charles and Thomas Nichols of Lovell, Wyoming, spent the wee here visiting. Both are former resi- rtpnt.n nf RUvpr TJpof. William McMullin of Cedar City was in town Friday. Mr. and Mrs. John B. Long and daughters of Cedar City spent the week end here visiting with friends. Charles Wright Is In Las Vegas, Nevada, where he Is employed in the new army building. Mrs. Bert Harris has been 111 the past week. Bob Worthen of Las Vegas, Ne- vada, was a week end visitor in Leeds. A baby boy was born to Mr. and Mrs. Bill Stratton Saturday. Mr. and Mrs. T. J. Reese of Salt Lake City spent Sunday visiting with relatives. They were en route from St. George to Cedar City with the legislators. Reese was a former teacher in Leeds while Mrs. Reese was formerly Miss Bessie Angell. |
