Show Bryce Canyon News Kathy Lee Building and Utilities Foreman, Michael Lee, will be attending a seven-week training course beginning begin-ning Jan. 9 entitled Facility Managers Man-agers Development Program at the National Park Service Albright Training Center, located at the South Rim of Grand Canyon National Na-tional Park, Ariz. Randi Miller, purchasing agent at Bryce Canyon National park, is scheduled this week for training at the National Park Service Rocky Mountain Regional office in Denver. Den-ver. Randi will attend a two-day course called "Pre-printed Forms Systems Training." She will spend the remainder of the week assisting in the Regional Office and acquiring on-the-job experience. Park Ranger Fuzz Keene is teaching 7th and 10th grade students at Bryce Valley School in Cardiopulmonary Car-diopulmonary Resuscitauon (CPR). The students attended sessions Jan. 5-6 and will finish the course this Thursday and Friday. Get well wishes and a speedy recovery are sentiments extended to Supt. Bob Reynolds as he recuperates recuper-ates from a bout with pneumonia. Bob is at Garfield County Hospital and hopes to return home by the beginning of the Jan. 8th week. Wishes for a speedy recovery are also extended to LaKay Quilter, business manager for the Natural History Association, who is recovering recov-ering from hand surgery this past week at a St George Hospital. The Jed Davises entertained and rang in the New Year with friends, the Mike Lobergs from Page, Ariz. Welcome back to Kathy Lee from her travels to her hometown of Baltimore, Md., where she spent nine days with family and friends. Condolences were extended to Anita Dore at the news of her father's fa-ther's death this past week. Anita worked at Bryce Canyon National Park this past year filling in the administration officer's position until a permanent administration officer was hired. |
