Show J Hatch News Mayall Sawyer Mr. and Mrs. LaVal Sawyer, Mike Sawyer and Lance Sawyer, took Verda Sawyer to Fredonia, Ariz., last week to celebrate new 78th birthday, with a cookout at the home of Mr. and Mrs. Brent Mackleprang. Joining in the celebration cele-bration were Vay Sawyer, Mr. and Mrs. Joe LaCarti, Riley Anderson, Rusty Anderson and Justin Anderson, Ander-son, Kanab. Also taking part were Mr. and Mrs. Dan Brush of Phoenix, Ariz., and Mr. and Mrs. -J Eric Latham and Kim Latham of Fredonia. Friday Mr. and Mrs. , Darol Allred, Washington, came to see the deVictorias and visit the Lowders over the weekend. Other visitors were the Phillip Crofts, Ordcrville, and the Max Burrows, Fredonia, Ariz. The Deuard Riggs family, Salt Lake City, are visiting Mr. and Mrs. Orlas Riggs. Mr. and Mrs. Kent Sawyer, Cedar City, visited May Sawyer, Friday. Kurt Sawyer, Colter Sawyer, Brett Sawyer and Aimee Sawyer, Cedar City, visited Saturday Satur-day and Sunday and helped fix fences. Other visitors were Elaine Sawyer, Panguitch and Evelyn Teegarden, Asay Creek. Mr. and Mrs. Leone Wooley went back to Orem after spending a week here. Mr. and Mrs. Nile Sawyer went to St. George to visit Mr. and Mrs. Lynn Savage. Nile went to the elementary el-ementary school in Bloomington and demonstrated his whittling. He also demonstrated his talent at Ada Nordell's home. Mr. and Mrs. Leone Wooley, May Sawyer and Mr. and Mrs. Nile Sawyer attended the wedding reception recep-tion at Kanab of their niece Elizabeth Eliza-beth Frost and Michael L. Walker. The newlyweds are making their home in Orem. Loma Barnhurst went to Salt Lake City to see her father Virgil Pollock who is in the Veterans Hospital. Mr. and Mrs. Lynn Evans went to St. George. Noreen Evans attended at-tended the LDS Temple with grandson, Terry Evans, who is going on a mission to Spain. The Evanses also visited Mr. and Mrs. Deloy Evans, Hurricane. Shirley Wilhelm returned home after spending a week in Las Vegas. Attending the missionary farewell for David R. Woodmancy, Antimony, were May Sawyer, Mr. and Mrs. Karl Lowder, Mr. and Mrs. Leone Wooley, Mr. and Mrs. Nile Sawyer; Mr. and Mrs. Lynn Savage, St. George; Mr. and Mrs. Darol Allred, Washington, and Mr. and Mrs. Kurt Sawyer, Cedar City. They all enjoyed a family dinner following the meeting and then visited Mr. and Mrs. Ken Roberts. Visiting Mr. and Mrs. Leone Wooley during the weekend were Mr. and Mrs. Lee Porter, Orem. Mr. and Mrs. Robert Evans went to Arizona to visit Mr. and Mrs. Mike Evans at Lake Side, and Mr. and Mrs. Eddie Hamblin at Egar. The Evanses went to Salt Lake City to visit Daisy Johnson. |
