Show Former Teacher Sentenced To 30 Bays In Jail A former Panguitch High School teacher intern is spending at least 30 days in Garfield County Jail following her sentencing April 4 in Sixth Circuit Court in Panguitch. Katherine Herder pleaded guilty to supplying alcohol to a minor, a class A misdemeanor, and contributing con-tributing to the delinquency of a minor, a class B misdemeanor, before be-fore Judge David Mower. She was sentenced to a year in the county jail and fined $3,125 on the first count, and six months in the county jail and fined $1,250 on the second count Her case will be reviewed in Sixth Circuit Court May 26, with Judge Mower reserving reserv-ing jurisdiction to suspend or review re-view the fines. She began serving her sentence immediately. She has 30 days in which to appeal. ap-peal. She was arrested March 18 in Panguitch. |
