Show BLM To Issue EIS On Land Treatment The Bureau of Land Management plans to issue a draft environmental impact statement on treatment of rangeland vegetation on public lands administered by the bureau. The public may submit to the bureau before October 16 comments on the scope of the EIS. The EIS will consider biological, burning, herbicidal, and mechanical methods for improvement of forage conditions, wildlife habitat, watershed conditions, and Increases for livestock production. The EIS will analyze both ground and aerial application of herbicides. Comments and suggestions concerning issues that should be considered in the EIS May be sent to Robert E.
