Show ' JGST STUFF ' BYJflH There are some feelings in this world that are simply indescribable, they're so wonderful. How can you describe that feeling . you get when you climb into a hot, soaky bath after hiking or skiing or working hard all day. That hot water seeps in and sooths those aching muscles and your body starts to . unwind . . . Ahhh!" How about that sensation of running your tongue over your teeth . after you brush them first thing in the morning? No more fuzzies or furries, just slick, smooth . . . '"Ahhh!" Climbing into the shower -gets the same response. It feels so good. . How can you explain how wonderful it feels to finally get that little piece of whatever that's been caught between your teeth since dinner? When the toothpick or dental floss finally knocks it out . . . "Ahhh!" - Climbing into a nice, warm bed . end finally laying your head on the pillow when you're dead tired feels that same "wonderful!" Eating dinner when you're really hungry getting out of the car and stretching your legs after a long drive, or finally getting the little one to sleep, all evoke the same feeling, the same , response "Ahhh!" Hot coffee or chocolate on the first ,- morning of the deer hunt, or after you've been out in the cold, ice cold lemonade after mowing the lawn in the summer, pulling into your own .driveway after- being away for r-'tiwhilei or-getting the house com-Vpletely cleaned, all work the same way . . . "Ahhh!" It isn't excitement. It can't be classified as happiness or joy. Mere satisfaction doesn't quite cover it, ' either. It's just an "Ahhh" sort of wonderful feeling. It's that same "ahhh" that escapes my lips when I've finished writing my column for another week! "Ahhh!" . I l |
