Show Henrieville Kay and Laura Clark made a trip to Salt Lake City to meet their son Ronald and Patsy Clark and Rhonda from Pocatello, Idaho. They also visited daughter Mary Carol Izatt. Jeanne Rose, Galen Rose and girl friend visited at the David Rose home. Bart Smith visited at the Lee Smith home. Lee and The! ma Smith visited at Escalante with Hode Alvey. Brad Griffin and the Wade Barney family visited Berthene Griffin. Carla and Martin Ramsey visited Bob and Helen Willis and Harold Blondin. Cynthia Johnson and boyfriend visited at the home of her parents the Thorley Johnsons. Thorley Johnson underwent surgery at the veterans hospital at Salt Lake City and is expected to be able to come home this week. Virginia has been there with him and visiting relatives in that area. Layton and Mebla Smith met Ace and Alberta Barker and son Bill at St. George after the Barkers had spent the winter at Yuma, Arizona. The Barkers then came to Henrieville to visit before returning to their home in Pennsylvania. Ed Smith and friends Tony and Prince visited the Layton Smiths on Thursday. JoAnn Ymith, Stephania, Michelle and Toni Shakespear came to visit withy Layton and Melba Smith. Then on Sunday Rett, Christine and Kenny Shakespear came from Cedar City Melba D. Smith and picked up Mildred Deuel from the Garfield Memorial Hospital and brought her to Henrieville to spend a few hours and then took her back to the hospital where she has been since June 29. German and Thora Goulding visited at the Dewey Willis home. They came for the wedding and reception of their nephew Brant and Shanna Barton. Several from here attended the reception at Tropic Saturday. The Relief Society celebrated their birthday anniversary on March 17 with a -dinner and ( program for the ladies and their partners. Jim and Margo Smith and Heather visited Jim and Rae Smith. Deloy and Karen Dutton had their daughters Darnell and Pat and children visiting them. Jeff Johnson and Dennis Shakespear spent a few days here from their jobs. Recent visitors were Stan and Doris Liles at the Elmo Bushnell home and visiting other relatives here. The seminary students put on the program in sacrament meeting on the Uth. On the 18th the speakers were Randal Lyman, Lester Clark and Lowell Mecham representing the stake high council. Merrill and Karen Willis and three little girls visited Kay and Maggie Willis and family, Those from here attending the EMT class at Panguitch are Wayne and Barbara Reynolds, Larry and Laraine Rose and Kim Johnson. Visiting Robert and Lousie Patterson and family were Linda and Keith Patterson. They came for Keith to celebrate his 6th birthday on Friday with a birthday party for little friends here. Also visiting was Louise's brother Paul Sprague and 7 year old twin boys. We were all happy to have our snow about to leave and now Monday morning it is snowing again. A, AAA A A J |
