Happy birthday wishes were extended to Verd Worthen, Clem Johnson, Armeda and LeGrande Farnsworth, Dan and Nedra Tebbs, and Bill Worthen and all present joined in a chorus of traditional "happy birthday" song. Prior to dancing, a raffle for two homemade lemon meringue pies, donated by Sally Mancini was held. Winners were Alta Orton and Lyle Miller. Music and entertainment for the evening was provided by the Gifford orchestra of Springdale. All in all the evening was a huge success and other area citizens might take a lesson from the senior citizens on how to bring about an evening of pure enjoyment. |
