Show Mueller Park Jr. Jazz takes second at state BOUNTIFUL Mueller Park's Lady Junior Jazz Basketball team battled its way to state championship action April 13 against American Fork. Though the bout was a see-saw battle, American Fork finally prevailed by a two-bucket margin. Championship action took place in the Salt Palace with both teams receiving awards during h a lft i me of the Utah Jazz Denver Nuggets game. Team members on the state runner up team are: Becca Seljaas, Candie Pitcher, Chris Moore, Wendy Midgely, Shelly Lundberg, Stephanie Hewlett, Jenny Cutler, Brittany Coats, Jill Beamson and LaNae Adams. The team is coached by Mrs. Pitcher who is assisted by Mrs. Midgley and Mrs. Beamson. |
