Show PACE offered in Davis Co. A program recently introduced by the Utah Chapter of the Arthritis Foundation will offer help for the 240,000 Utahns afflicted with arthritis. ar-thritis. Contrary to popular belief, people peo-ple who have arthritis not only can exercise, but are encouraged to do so. Doctors believe that people with arthritis, like other people, can improve im-prove their health and fitness without hurting their joints. People With Arthritis Can Exercise Exer-cise (PACE) is an exercise program available in Davis County. The specially trained instructors provide assistance to increase flexibility, range of motion, maintenance of muscle strength and increase overall stamina. The classes, which are specifically specifical-ly designed to meet the specific needs of each individual, generally run two to three days per week for six-week sessions.
