Show Buffs down Braves, 87-72 TOOELE Jarcd Wan less scored 2 1 points and Mark Lawson added 19 to lead the Tooele Buffaloes past Bountiful 87-72 in Region Six action Friday Fri-day night The Buffs victory avenged an earlier loss on the Braves' home floor. Bountiful remained within striking distance throughout the first half as Tooele held leads of 19-16 after the first period and 34-30 at halftime. However, in the third stanza, the Buffs outscored the Braves 20-9 to carry a 54-39 advantage into the final period. Bountiful, which hit 10 three-point three-point shots, was led by Roger Adams 17 points. Mason Jacobs and Jamie Jones added 16 and 14, respectively, for the Braves. Tooele went to the free throw line 25 times, while Bountiful visited the charity stripe 11 times.
