Show Career Fair scheduled for Feb. 12 at DATC in Kaysville Winning Giants pitcher Kelly Downs will be a featured presenter at a Career Fair on Thursday, Feb. 12. Along with Debra and Jacque Tingey of the New Christy Minstrels and 40 career specialists, Downs will share his insights on the process of exploring career information in-formation with students from junior high and senior high schools as well as young adults and parents. The location is DATC in Kaysville. Seminar sessions will run from 4:30 through 7:30 p.m. 4:30-and 5:15 p.m., "Jobs in the Health Care Industry' In-dustry' 5 p.m.. "High Tech Jobs" 5:15 p.m., "Dress for Success" 6 p.m., "Jobs for Students--Where and How" 6 p.m., "Where the Jobs Are, Today and Tomorrow" 6:30 p.m., "Professional Athletics-Blood, Sweat and Tears" 7:15 p.m., "Highs and Lows of the Music Industry" The Career Fair is intended to expand awareness of career possibilities for young people and encourage them to begin at an earlier age to make goals and work toward those goals in school curriculum and training. Responding to continual changes in liuing and a shift from college preparation to skill development demands, the Career Fair will offer the opportunity to explore 40 job options. Sponsors for the event are DATC, Davis County Schools, Morgan School District and Dan Eastman JeepEagle.
