1 "V- ; " ' v " - - . i w i t :i Select soccer players named Several area boys were recently chosen to be players on the Utah State Select Soccer team. In the under Wh division, team members from Bountiful are John Garlock, Nathan Morris, Scott Keate, and Dan Kirkham. In the under 15'2 division Corby Egan, Nick Berry, Ryan Creer, and Kevin Campbell were chosen. On April 14-17 the Utah State Select teams traveled to Las Cruces, New Mexico to participate in the World Collegiate Championship Champion-ship games. The under 14'2 Utah team came home with third place medals and the under 15'2 won fourth place medals. Nick Berry was also able to play with the under 18 team and in one game made the winning and only goal. Besides playing in tournament games, the boys also enjoyed several sev-eral activities such as watching some professional soccer games and being instructed by Pele's coach. Next weekend the Utah State Select teams travel to Boise where they will play several other state select teams from the Northwest.
