Show Dinah Shore to entertain at Music Hall The sincereity, warmth and charm which characterized her performances are reflections of the real Dinah Shore, according accord-ing to her friends and fellow artists and workers. The delightful and dynamic Dinah will grace the circular stage of Valley Music Hall tonight, to-night, September 22 through September 24. Dinah has been named the best dressed woman, the best coiffed, the Woman of the Year, the Mother of the Year, and one of the Ten most Admired Ad-mired Women of the World along with Eleanor Roosevelt, Mrs. Kennedy, Mrs Eisenhower, and Queen Elizabeth. And even her painful and public divorce hasn't dimmed her popularity. She does not go to rehearsals rehear-sals until after she has breakfasted break-fasted with and driven the children chil-dren to school. She is generally at home when they return. Weekends are spent on short trips with them and she participates partici-pates in PTA activities and other school functions. Her other oth-er interests include painting, tennis, photography, cooking, and she's an avid reader. In addition, she devotes a lot of time to charity and other worthy causes. She gives messages, mes-sages, writes letters requesting donations and recently went on a 35-day tour for the March of Dimes and the Heart Fund that netted an average of $75, 000 a day for these charities. |
