Show Benefit piano concert set September 29 The Utah Chapter of Utah Music Teachers Association, Springville Federated Music Club and the Musettes, are presenting pre-senting Paul Pollei of Salt Lake City, in a piano recital next Friday, Sept. 29, at 8 p.m., in the junior high school auditorium. The public is invited. in-vited. The talented musician began piano at the age of six years and majored in music theory, composition and piano at the University of Utah. He served an LDS mission in France and Belgium and during the time, appeared in concerts in some of the larger cities. He attended the University of Rochester after af-ter receiving his BA degree in music in 1961 and studied under un-der numerous noted pianists. At present he is on the teaching tea-ching staff of BYU and is the chairman of the piano area. Music lovers are expected to enjoy the music treat afforded by the recital, which is being given as a benefit to finance master classes in piano. Lake Superior has a tide with a range of about two inches. |
