Show Trip to Europe for winner of sewing contest Sew now and you may fly later to Europe for a thrilling two-week's holiday, announces Mrs. Raleigh Williams of Spanish Span-ish Fork Distict DT director of the "Make it Yourself with Wool" contest, as she explained explain-ed various phases of the event. The grand prize in the contest con-test is a holiday trip to England, Eng-land, France and Germany. Other prizes will include college col-lege scholarships, U. S. Savings Bonds, sewing machines and other items. The District II contest will be held in Provo, Dec. 13, the area comprising entries from Orem to Payson. Sewing must be done at home or in school. Girls doing 4-H projects may also enter. The girls must do all the work and the material must be 100 percent wool loomed in America. Each contestant models mod-els her garment before the judges at the district contest, competing with girls her own age. ; Winners in the district will compete in the state contest in Salt Lake City, Jan. 5, 1867. i State winners will be entered in the national fashion show at Las Vegas, January 16 and the junior and senior winners will ' be awarded a 14-day trip to Europe. All who enjoy sewing in ages from 14 to 21 years, are i invited to enter the contest for which entry blanks have been placed in the senior and junior high schools and at fabric de- partments in Utah County stores.
