Bret Wetherell, son of Mrs. LaRaine Wetherell fell while playing at home Sunday, and struck his head on a cement coping, cutting a bad gash, requiring re-quiring several stitches. ' Mr and Mrs. LaVell Bird, 1 ir and Mrs. Waldon Hurst :m t mi Mrs. Fern Whitney went j toOgden, Sunday, to visit Mrs. I Eunice Dunyon who has been very ill. Mrs. Dunyon is a sister sis-ter to Mrs. Bird, Mrs. Whitney Whit-ney and Mr. Hurst. A brother from Fairpiew and his wife also al-so went with them. A number of visitors were in town Sunday to attend the missionary farewell for Richard Rich-ard Whiting, son of Mr. and Mrs. Harold Whitiing. Mr. and Mrs. Spencer Reese and family from Loa, Utah, Mr. and Mrs. Chester Brough of Bountiful, Mr and Mrs. Ned Whiting and family of Roy, Utah and Mrs. Iva Lee of Spanish Fork. Following Fol-lowing the meeting, they visited vis-ited at the Whiting home. Kristine Whiting, grand-daughter grand-daughter of Mrs. Martha Whiting Whit-ing visited here last week. Kristine is employed in Berkeley, Berke-ley, California as a social worker. She came by plane to see her nephew, Craig Whiting, Whit-ing, before he departed for his mission. David Whiting, son, of Mr. and Mrs. Juan Whiting was re-lased re-lased from the LDS Hospital recently, where he has received treatment since an operation in June. David is able to get around in a wheel chair and is reported to be improving. Mr. and Mrs. Emanuel De-Jockomo De-Jockomo have their son, Ronnie, Ron-nie, visiting with them for a few weeks. He has been attending attend-ing school in Chicago. Their daughter, Jackie and her husband hus-band have recently moved from Dugway to Indiana. Mr. and Mrs Vance Gividen have their daughter and family Mr. and Mrs. John Harris (Georgine) and six children, visiting with them this week. They are moving from Chicago to San Diego, Calif. A grandson of the Gividen's, Terry Williams, Wil-liams, son of Mr. and Mrs. Blaine Williams, has been called on a mission. His farewell fare-well will be Sunday, Sept. 25 in Lander, Wyoming. Brenda Johnson, daughter of Mr -and Mrs. Frank Johnson, has returned from West Yellowstone, Yel-lowstone, where she was employed em-ployed during the summer and |
